I am Heba, a mother of four children, and I am writing to you about our dire situation and the unimaginable hardships that we never imagined.

As the world watches, Gaza is plunged into a horrific conflict, where innocent lives are lost every day.

The atrocities committed are beyond comprehension, with families torn apart and futures shattered.

My husband, my children, and I find ourselves trapped in this nightmare. Every moment is a battle for survival with the constant threat of violence looming on the horizon.

We dream of nothing more than finding safety and security

My husband was exposed to shrapnel in the head as a result of random shelling and needs care and attention

A number of his family members were killed and a number of them sustained various injuries.

My daughter was injured in her leg as a result of the bombing, but she miraculously escaped death and is now still lying in bed and needs medical care.

Treatment, expenses, and the cost of her treatment are $25,000.

With limited basic supplies such as food, medicine, and clean water, diseases spread quickly, which greatly exposes my children to danger. They are forced to drink water that is not suitable for consumption, which leads to an increase in the incidence of diseases and infections, such as hepatitis, stomach and intestinal infections, respiratory system diseases, and others.

My children also endure harsh conditions, as they have been separated from their schools and friends and live in constant fear and anxiety. With the sounds of explosions, destruction, and constant emergencies around them, their situation is very sad.

This tent does not protect us from the bombing to which we are exposed. Every day, the cries of my children echo between the tents for fear of the sound of the bombing. I see in their eyes the looks of farewell as they cry. The smell of death is in every inch of Gaza, and my tears do not stop out of fear for them. My heart is torn because of what my children are suffering.

These difficult living conditions are unbearable.

A safe place is not an option, it is the only way to survive.

We have endured so much hardship. My heart breaks when I see my family suffering.

We are desperately searching for a way to get to safety and provide a better life for my children.

That is why I am communicating with you and turning to you with all hope for your help and support in saving my family from this bitter reality
