Help Ahniyah Finish School!

Hi, my name is Ahniyah Clay and I am senior marketing major at Howard University from PG County, Maryland. I am raising money to pay off my debt to Howard University and finish my degree in Business Administration- Marketing. I started at Howard University in the Fall of 2017 as a first-generation college student and continued taking class as a full-time student until Fall 2019. I originally received financial aid to cover the costs of tuition. I was randomly selected for verification of my financial aid and submitted several documents to complete verification. I received an email from the office of financial aid saying that the process was complete and I didn’t need to take any steps further. When I went to register for the next classes at the end of the semester I noticed I had a hold on my account and was told by financial aid that I never completed verification although I was told it was completed and all of my financial aid was canceled leaving me with a $40,000 bill. The financial aid officer told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to pay the full amount before I could register for classes. I have been working multiple jobs to pay off the bill and have already paid almost $11,000 of the bill in one year but am struggling to pay the rest and can’t get any loans. My parents have 2 other kids in college and younger children and are unable to take out a large loan for me. I received a full time job offer to work at The Estée Lauder Companies in NYC upon graduation and I would love to be able to go back and finish my degree so that I can start this new job.
