Help Mal’s Bar Rebuild After The Devastation

As we all know, Hurricane Helene has left our little town of Marshall, NC reeling. The French Broad swelled and ravaged much of our downtown, with parts fully washed away. Local businesses like Mal’s have been hit hard to a devastating degree, and while the road to recovery is long, we’re starting with what we can do right now.

After learning FEMA doesn’t not provide financial aid they only direct business owners to more debt through SBA Loans, we are raising funds to rebuild Mals and support the heart of Mal’s: Mallory, Ciara, Will, Emily, and Rodrigo—the golden folks who’ve made this bar feel like a second home to so many. Every dollar raised will go directly to this mission in an attempt to recover just a sliver of what’s been lost and still provide our community a place to come together or hot dogs, cold beer, seltzers or a game or three of pool.
