Help Aidan Get Life-Saving Surgeries in Spokane

Hello, my name is Marc. I started this GoFundMe to help my son and I get to Washington State for his upcoming surgeries that are needed at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.

My son was born with an omphalocele (3/4 of his intestines were on the outside of his body at birth). He had 3 surgeries by the time he was 6 months old. Now, 9 years later, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis a short time ago, kidney issues, and a needed urethra valve surgery soon. The medical profession here in Alaska is not set up for Aidan's conditions, so we decided to make the move to Spokane for all of his surgical needs.

With his medical needs of office visits, doctor visits, hospital tests, etc., my 40-hour work week has abruptly gone to 15-20 hours a week. I was able to secure full-time employment once there, as well as a home to rent near the hospital. Travel expenses through Canada and help with the home rental would be a tremendous help and a huge weight off our shoulders so I can focus all my energy on Aidan.

I am allotting $1800-S2000 for the 48hr drive. 4-10hr days and 1-8hr day of drivng for fuel, and a couple hotels along the way. Any extra $ will go towards housing, and anything else that Aidan will need. He is on a strict high fiber diet as of now to get his elevated levels down. We secured our passport cards a couple of weeks ago, and I have been working to get any extra money from side jobs (I'm a journeyman plumber by trade, 25+ years) that I can.

Aidan has a long road ahead of him with many surgeries in the near future. His conditions are long-term, yet through it all, he remains cheerful, happy, and stays positive. He is truly a remarkable child that I love dearly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
