Help Aidan Rebuild His Cinematographer's Kit

Hi, my name is Aidan. I am a Cinematographer based in Los Angeles, and a couple of weeks ago my car was broken into just outside my apartment. The rear passenger window was smashed, and my Assistant Camera go-bag was stolen. It contained all of the gear I'd amassed since starting my journey as a cinematographer at NYU, things I had worked hard to collect and save. It could not have come at a worse time, as I was a day away from starting a long and arduous week of shoots leading up to the Super Bowl.

 

 

 

 

I've been working at the NFL as an Assistant Camera and because of the theft the day before, I had to rent a car while waiting for the replacement window to come in. Unfortunately, this ended up costing much more than I anticipated when I was turned away from repair shop after repair shop due to being misinformed about the repair process by my leasing dealership. I've put off sharing this fundraiser in hopes my equipment might be recovered, but it's been made clear the police can't/won't continue to help.
