Help Aiden continue his path to recovery!

Hello, my name is Shannon Foster. I'm Aiden's auntie and I'd like to ask you to please consider helping my nephew Aiden along his road to recovery.
Aiden had just overcome his greatest hurdle yet and had begun to live life again after a summer of both inpatient/outpatient hospitalization through Prairie Care. He was able to find some joy again in his days by returning to lacrosse. In September, Aiden sustained a concussion playing indoor box lacrosse after taking an illegal check to the back of his neck where his head then bounced off the boards, and then the player slammed his head into the ground. He was evaluated and diagnosed with a severe concussion. He fought hard to begin his freshman year while suffering from dizziness, headaches, sensitivity to light, brain fog/concentration issues, emotional dysregulation and exhaustion. On October 11th he was cleared of his concussion protocol and returned to the field again to play his favorite sport. Unfortunately, this did not last long before his concussion symptoms slowly began to return in the form of a visual/ocular migraine during lacrosse practice that brought him into the ER. They dismissed that it was concussion-related. He then began to develop issues with exercise that resulted in dizziness, headaches and vomiting any time his heart rate increased. Add in brain fog, increased anxiety and depression returning, and his family began searching for answers. He returned to the concussion clinic where he was told it was not concussion-related, and to see his family doctor. He was seen by his family doctor to be led nowhere. He had labs done that continued to come back normal, an MRI, and was referred to a cardiologist to see if it was blood pressure related, and yet his symptoms began to continue and increase. While at an appointment with his chiropractor his mother shared her frustrations and worry about what he has been going through and the lack of answers. Dr. Brian was an amazing listener as always and began to dig into his symptoms., He referred him to a functional neurologist whom he strongly believed would lead him on the right path to recovery. After a great deal of in-depth testing it was determined that yes, there were still many issues that were surfacing as a result of his concussion. Aiden will begin an intensive treatment program in January. This intensive approach to care will allow them to personalize treatment based on Aiden’s specific needs. While the family is thrilled to finally start to see light at the end of the tunnel to get Aiden back on track, this does not come without an excessive cost that is not covered by insurance. Aiden’s family has just gotten their heads above water with his medical bills under control from his hospitalization this past summer.
Let’s work together to get Aiden back on his feet and feeling healthy and strong again!
Sincerely,
Shannon
