Help Aiden Heal and Thrive Again

Hey Family and Friends, I wanted to update you on Aiden. For those that know Aiden went hiking with some friends back in July. During the hike, Aiden suffered from a heat stroke and passed out, hitting his head and scraping his body. He had complete organ failure and then complications from an unknown infection.

It has been such a rollercoaster of emotions regarding his situation but Aiden is definitely a fighter and is doing okay.

Aiden’s breathing tube was taken out last week on Friday 8/16/24. He was fighting withdrawals from the pain and sedation meds. He’s been on and off dialysis. He’s also been able to walk around the hospital but sometimes needs to stop and sit in the wheelchair for a break.

I’m reaching out because some of you have asked at the beginning of all of this, that you would like to help with anything you can. Aiden has lost over 30+ lbs and needs new clothes and shoes; with Kristina and Miguel having been out of work for a while at the beginning they are asking to see if anyone is still willing to help.

However, Physical therapy has been working with Aiden every day and that equals closer to going home when released and not rehab.
