Help Aiden Recover from Hit and Run
Donation protected
Aiden and his friends just graduated high school and we’re going to camp near Wabamum lake to celebrate. While heading to their camp they had to cross the highway.
They checked both ways to ensure it was clear and while crossing a van going anywhere between 110-120km hit my brother and completely failed to stop afterwards. His friends witnessed the van slow down after the hit and then continue to take off.
Aiden’s friends had to drag him off the asphalt while he was unconscious, they quickly called emergency services and Aiden was STARS air ambulance lifted to the children’s stollery.
Aiden’s friends believed aiden had died after the impact because he was unconscious. Luckily they were able to visit him once he was stable in the hospital and were overjoyed to see him.
Aiden suffered from a large gash in his neck that had 3 pieces of glass inside that had to be removed by surgery later. He also had broken ribs, large wounds on his chest and arms and broke his front teeth. He has roughly 40 stitches total.
Aiden is a recent highschcool graduate from Paul Kane high-school and he is passionate about personal fitness and weightlifting. He also works as roofing labourer to pay for his bills and personal savings
Due to the hit and run, Aiden will be missing the remainder of school and won’t be able to work. We are hoping to raise money to continue to support him for the next few months. Any money donated will go towards Aiden's personal bills and savings as he cannot return to his job for the summer
Thank you to everyone who wished for Aiden's speedy recovery. He is extremely grateful for all the support from friends, family, and even kind strangers who reached out after hearing the story.
