Help Aiden Rock His Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
7-year-old Aiden went to CCMC just before Christmas this year with complaints of nausea, headaches and symptoms of disorientation. Two days before the holiday, after having undergone several tests as well as a tumor removal, they received devastating news. Aiden was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.
He has just begun chemotherapy and has an uncertain road ahead in terms of length of treatment and a timeline for improvement. The medication and hospital copay expenses are already adding up. Aiden must spend this coming week in hospital care undergoing aggressive chemotherapy. Please help us raise funds to help Aiden beat this awful disease.
Aiden is a fun-loving, active boy who loves Legos, reading - especially Harry Potter, and superheroes. Due to COVID, Aiden’s immune system cannot be compromised, and he has needed to stay quarantined, so the purchase of at-home activities that he enjoys has been uplifting to him.
Aiden's mom Dawn is a single parent and will need to spend time away from work caring for him and managing all of the expenses associated with care and treatment of this disease during this stressful time. Although the government has recently passed legislation around FMLA leave, unfortunately, it does not apply to union employees, of which Dawn is a member.
Please consider a donation of any amount so Dawn can focus on caring for Aiden rather than the stress of financial responsibilities at this time. All positive thoughts and words of support are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you in advance for supporting Aiden’s path to rocking his treatment!
