Help Aimee Beat Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer!!
Donation protected
Our treasured friend and family member, Aimee LeCuyer, age 39, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer has spread to her bones and lungs.
Her cancer is deemed terminal, but with your compassion and generosity, we hope to beat the statistics and give Aimee the opportunity to live a full and healthy life. There is no shortness of hope among us!
We ask for donations to help with the financial, emotional and physical burdens this battle will endure. Here is what she is up against:
· Medically induced early menopause – Quarterly injections to suppress her ovaries in order to stop the estrogen feeding the cancer.
· Monthly bone strengthening IV treatments
· Chemotherapy
· Target Therapy (waiting on further analysis of the HER2 protein results)
· Medical bills, including all of the above, as well as her Brain MRI, Echocardiogram, X-Rays, Lung Cat Scan, whole body Pet Scan and future clinical trials
· Living expenses, as she has ceased her employment due to physical, medical and emotional burdens.
· Seeking a second opinion that will incur travel expenses and out of town accommodations.
Aimee shines a bright light in every person’s life that has had the pleasure to meet her. Her compassion, generosity, empathy, support and humor are the reasons people gravitate towards her. She is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt to 8 nieces and nephews, and friend to many.
Aimee and her four siblings recently lost their dad this past year. They have battled the grief of losing a parent, and are now gearing up for another battle - A battle to save their sister from this dreadful disease. With the help of a united, compassionate front, we will be able to give her the option to tackle her battles ahead.
Please donate what you can, and if you are unable to -- please, PLEASE share her story! She is a blessing to this world, and with an amazing support system, may she keep blessing us for years to come!
With our sincerest gratitude,
Team Aimee
