Support Air Bud Creator Kevin Di Cicco Secure Assisted Living

Kevin Di Cicco, the brilliant mind behind the beloved Air Bud franchise, needs our help. After bringing the iconic Golden Retriever to life in twelve motion pictures, Kevin is now facing severe respiratory issues following a COVID-19 diagnosis. To support him during this challenging time, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his assisted living residence.

Kevin Di Cicco is the creator of Air Bud, the super athletic Golden Retriever known for his extraordinary sports skills. Through twelve films and numerous television and professional sporting event appearances, Air Bud has brought joy to millions of children, families, and sports enthusiasts worldwide.

Kevin has recently been diagnosed with severe respiratory issues after contracting COVID-19. This health crisis has significantly impacted his ability to live independently, making assisted living accommodations necessary.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be used to secure an assisted living residence for Kevin. Our goal is to raise $200,000 to cover the costs associated with his care and ongoing medical needs.

Kevin spent six years developing and marketing Buddy, also known as "Air Bud." Buddy's athletic prowess and charm led to hundreds of appearances on television and at professional sporting events, eventually securing a film deal that resulted in twelve successful motion pictures over fifteen years. Despite the franchise's popularity, it failed to achieve financial profitability, leading to significant financial stress and bankruptcy for Kevin, which in turn caused severe clinical depression.
In his battle with depression, Kevin turned to medical marijuana as an antidepressant. While effective, this treatment had side effects that contributed to the development of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Kevin stopped using medical marijuana in 2020, but the COPD was manageable with prescribed inhalers until he contracted pneumonia in 2022. Multiple hospitalizations followed, and a recent COVID-19 infection has caused further, life-threatening respiratory complications.

Now dependent on full-time oxygen and in need of assisted living, Kevin is currently hospitalized and reaching out to his fans for support. The GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $200,000 to cover the costs of his assisted living facility and ongoing care. Kevin is seeking the generosity of his fans and the community to help him through this challenging time.
A Message from Kevin Di Cicco:
"I’ve dedicated my life to bringing joy and entertainment through Air Bud. Now, I’m in a position where I need help to secure the care I need. I’m incredibly grateful for any support and hope my story inspires others to lend a hand."

Together, we can make a difference in the life of a man who has brought so much joy to so many.

Thank you for your support! Scott
