My name is Airam Martinez. I am a Hispanic 17-year-old first-gen immigrant and a senior in high school.

Last year, during the fall, I applied to AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy), the university of my dreams. I submitted my application, wrote my essay, requested letters of recommendation from my teachers, spent hours rehearsing my monologues, and finally, auditioned in front of a judge. A few days later, I got the letter that I had been accepted for the fall semester in 2025! Years of theatre led up to this, and I couldn’t be happier!

Unfortunately, I come from a less-fortunate family and cannot afford to attend college at the moment. Not only can I not afford tuition, but I also can’t afford the deposit or to live in an expensive city like Los Angeles. I ask for your help in helping me afford to live my lifelong dream.
