On December 27, 2024, our beloved brother, Ajayi Emmanuel Akinboboye, was called home to eternity.

Ajayi had recently checked into the hospital for a routine check-up after experiencing a brief illness, unaware that his time with us would soon end. What initially seemed like a minor issue quickly escalated, and despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, his life could not be saved. His passing was a shock to all of us and came far too suddenly.

Ajayi was a deeply devoted and God-fearing man. He was committed to his local church and community, always striving to live a life of service and faith. He was also a wonderful father and husband, leaving behind a loving wife and three young children. I visited his home not long ago, and I’ll never forget the moment when one of his children asked him, "Dad, can I watch TV?" That simple request highlighted the incredible impact of Ajayi's nurturing, the love and guidance he provided to his family.

It’s hard to believe that such a great father, who invested so much into his children’s lives, has been taken from them so soon, at the prime of his life.

Ajayi gave so much to his community, always striving to help others as God enabled him. Though he is no longer with us, his work and legacy live on in the hearts of those he touched.
