Hi all! My name is Akia Deyvon I am the owner of the Creative Reaction Company & Dance Studio located in West Philadelphia PA. I am super passionate about what I do for the arts community especially here in Philadelphia. I love the concept of housing a space for all local creatives to express and elevate theirselves & skillset. Environment and experience is something I take pride in when it comes to my students & clientele. Which is why it was time and necessary to relocate the studio home. At our previous location, students were experiencing car break ins, seeing and hearing nearby shootouts, exposed to drug users in plain site and more. I knew that we would not be at our startup location for long but it was difficult finding the right new location and for the right price for the company's budget. Im elated to express that we finally have a new studio home!! It's a WAY better experience. We have a store front, parking lot, signage, reception area, 2 personal restrooms and a great amount of dance space!

We are raising funds to help us have the remaining work on our agenda be completed as soon as possible. We want to create a studio that gives the professional aesthetic and features to create the ultimate experiences for our clients and students. We still need signage interior and exterior for the top of our unit, the plaza's billboard and inside of the space, professional lighting equipment & installation, security cameras, automatic door lock and more. We need help recouping the funds that went out to even get this far. The space was completely renovated from a vanilla shell blank canvas and now we are looking to complete all of the ad-ons!

This space is not just a dance studio but also an event space! So we are looking to cater to a wider audience and we want everyone to have the best experience with our space and services. Any donation amount means the world to us a company and we are so fortunate to even have the support that we do! Being an independently black owned business and a full time entrepreneur has not been the easiest venture at all but I do this for the greater good and I do it for the community and the individuals in which lives I've impacted by this space and or company alone.
