Dear All, as some of you may know, we are Dalia and Salah, parents from Gaza. We married nine years ago and are blessed with three wonderful children: Alaa (8 years old), Rital (5 years old), and Arkan (3 years old). Our children, like us, were born under the brutal occupation of our beloved Gaza. In these days of food scarcity and incessant bombardment, we often find ourselves contemplating the meaning of it all.

Of all the countless possible futures we dreamt of for our children, their upbringing during this genocide against them was certainly not one we could have imagined. Not even in our worst nightmares did we think we would have to save our children from starvation and annihilation. Because this is what it is. The truth is, the bombs that pierce our children’s nights and burn away our dreams of the future are terrifying, and the constant, deafening drone and jet aircraft are a sickening reminder that this occupation also imposes its own terrible, sinister noise to drown out our conversations, our prayers, and even our thoughts. But the worst nightmare of all is the scarcity of food. It’s now the end of April, and nothing has been allowed into Gaza since the beginning of March. Two months, two million people in 2025—is this the future? Will the people of Gaza be wiped out? The whole world is talking about genocide in Gaza as it escalates, yet trucks loaded with rotting food and essential supplies are lined up hundreds of meters from our empty stomachs, our infected wounds, and our parched throats. We pray to God to protect us and grant us freedom, and as parents, we ask for your help in raising our children. We want to live. Please donate and share this campaign.
