Hi, My name is Heba Almadhoun, I am a Canadian, And fundraising for a family who has tragically lost their home in Remal-Thalatheny Street and livelihood due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. This Family seeking me to help them getting out of Gaza crossing the Egyptian borders from Rafah to Egypt.

Together, we can help Alaa, his wife and their children rebuild their lives in a peaceful place where they can live without fear. dear friends and caring hearts,

my name is Alaa Almadhoun, a father of four children: Nada, Baraa, Sameera and Elyas. My wife's name is Shaza.

I' am a Palestinian, and I live my entire life in Gaza strip. At the beginning of the war, In october 15th, due to the ongoing bombings, we evacuated from the north to the south where we looked for a safe place in Khan Yunis sharing the tiny space with a large number of people, then I found out my home had been bombed after few days I left it, and our neighbourhood area had been destroyed. two months later, the occupation asked us to evacuate again leaving Khan Yunis. Now, we stay somewhere in Rafah in completely inhuman conditions, we're running out of food and water, and bombings everywhere around us. we are struggling to survive.

My heart is deeply broken every time when we woke up to the sounds of bombing and my kids are terrified and shaking. it is very sad and painful seeing my children in this fearful situation. I have promised my children to keep them save somewhere out of Gaza. I URGENTLY and humbly ask you to help me save my family's life by getting them out of Gaza since there is no SAFE place in Gaza due to slow deaths by hunger, dehydration, displacement, and spreading of illnesses and the ongoing bombings. Choosing to leave is a very painful decision to make, but the situation has become untenable. my children are begging me to leave and keep them safe since the constant threat of bombardment left them scarred and in constant fear.

How the fund will be spent:

The Egyptian borders takes $6.000 per adult, 2 Adults x $6.000 = $12.000

$2500 per child, 4 children x $2500 = $10.000

the total is $ 22.000

cost of living for two months is Egypt, until we can provide an income = $5.000

consider this amount is in American dollars, and I state the fund goal is $37.000 Canadian dollars.

leaving Gaza to a peaceful place is my main goal for now. My friends in Saudi Arabia and turkey are willing to help me once I get out of Gaza by providing us the basic needs, then I am planning to get a chance to seek refuge somewhere and stay safe far from the atrocities of genocide.
