Help Alan Baliko SR's Family in Their Time of Loss

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing on April 2, 2025 of Alan Fredrick Baliko SR of Darlington, Maryland due to suicide. Alan was born in Baltimore, Maryland and shortly after moved to Harford County, Maryland. Alan was a 1985 graduate of Edgewood Senior high school where he excelled in the Arts and was a four year wrestler earning a varsity letter. After high school Alan attended Harford Community College taking classes in criminal justice after college. He worked for the Harford County sheriffs office in corrections, security at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Security for Amtrak, and preceding with Glen Meadows Retirement Community.

Alan was proceeded in death by his parents Alexander Carl Baliko III and wife Shirley Nutter Baliko, and his older brother Thomas J Cate Junior. He is survived by his wife Kristina Baliko, daughter Emily Khan and husband Mo and their two children Isaac and Sophia, son Alan Baliko Jr and wife Heather, son Brenden Baliko, daughter Miranda Baliko, and his brother Alex and wife Heather Baliko and their children Bryce and Allison.

Alan enjoyed loving Kristina and watching shows with her, playing RuneScape with AJ, basketball with Brenden, doing art with Miranda, listening to music with Emily, but above all else was being pop-pop and playing with his two grandkids.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated as we are not prepared for this unexpected tragic loss. Alan and Kristina were not financially stable, this is going to be a hard transition for Kristina without Alan, and the responsibilities are left for the children to figure out.
