Support the Page Hernández family after the Eaton fire

Our dear friends, Dani, Alan and María lost their home on Wednesday to the devastating Eaton fire.

The family moved into their Altadena home — their first as homeowners — this past September and had spent these last months settling in, preparing for the arrival of their second child in May.

The fire took everything. All that is left are the three front steps. We are endlessly grateful that they evacuated safely, but we are heartbroken for them.

Thank you to everyone in the community who has reached out to ask after them. Your compassion and love in this tragic moment is appreciated more than you can know.

Many have expressed interest in helping. We have started a GoFundMe page to raise funds to help cover expenses that exceed federal aid allowances and insurance.

Nuestros queridos amigos, Dani, Alan y María perdieron su casa en los incendios devastadores en Altadena.

Recién se habían comprado su primera casa, en Altadena, este septiembre. Pasaron los últimos meses amueblándola y preparándose para recibir a su segundo bebé que nacerá este mayo.

El fuego arrasó con todo. De la casa solo quedaron los tres escalones de la entrada. Agradecemos que estén sanos y salvos, pero nos duele su pérdida.

Gracias a todos quienes nos han preguntado por ellos. Tanto amor y apoyo se siente y les sostiene.
