Help Alan Sanderson Fight Cancer

Donation protected
Alan Sanderson of East Burke, Vermont, was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in March 2020 and has been undergoing treatments since then. After 16 rounds of chemotherapy, his oncologist determined that chemo was no longer effective. He has been approved for a brand new treatment which will be available to start in January 2023, with hopes to slow down the spread of cancer.

Alan has been unable to work for several months, but we all know that doesn’t stop the bills from rolling in. As a self-employed logger, he has been denied disability insurance and the appeal process can take as long as 2 years or more. Many people have asked how they can help Alan and have shared stories of how he has helped others his entire life. I think this is the best way for all of us to step up and help him at this time. If we can ease the financial burden that he is under, that would be the best possible gift for a man who has always been there for his friends and family when they needed him. He wants to go back to work and is hoping this new treatment will be successful and allow him to do that once it’s completed.

Anything that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Alan is a quiet man of few words with a huge heart – he extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone whether you donate or simply keep him and his family in your prayers.
