Help Alana, Rocky Point Athlete, Realize Her Dream

My name is Blanca Valdez and I would like to kindly make a request on behalf of my daughter, Alana Paola Armenta Valdez, who is an exceptional athlete with tremendous potential and fully represents our Rocky Point community locally, Sonora nationally, and Mexico internationally in the Discus Throwing event. Alana has proven an unwavering commitment to excellence in her sport, dedicating endless hours to her training and overcame challenges and adversities with determination and courage. From an early age, she has shown her talent and passion. In 2021 at only 14 years old, Alana managed to obtain the Silver Medal at the international level in Discus Throwing in the U-15 category, in 2022 she earned the national championship in Discus Throwing and Shotput Throwing in the U-16 category. In 2023 she again won her second consecutive title throwing in Discus Throwing championship in the U-18 category. This year Alana Paola is in 1st place in the National Ranking in the Under-18 and Under-20 categories at 17 years of age. She also qualified for the World Championship of Athletics Under-18 to represent Mexico in the Discus Throwing World Championships to be held in the city of Manama, Bahrain, in October of this year.

Unfortunately, the cost of this trip to compete in the world championships is high, and Alana needs to travel with her coach for this important competition. As a result, we are seeking financial support to help Alana reach her full potential and achieve her athletic goals. We would like to invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Mi nombre es Blanca Valdez y me gustaría amablemente hacer una petición en nombre de mi hija, Alana Paola Armenta Valdez, quien es una atleta excepcional con un tremendo potencial y representa plenamente a nuestra comunidad de Rocky Point a nivel local, Sonora a nivel nacional y México a nivel internacional en el evento de lanzamiento de disco. Alana ha demostrado un compromiso inquebrantable con la excelencia en su deporte, dedicando interminables horas a su entrenamiento y superando retos y adversidades con determinación y valentía. Desde muy pequeña ha demostrado su talento y pasión. En 2021, con tan solo 14 años, Alana consiguió la medalla de plata a nivel internacional en lanzamiento de disco en la categoría sub-15, en 2022 se proclamó campeona nacional en lanzamiento de disco y lanzamiento de Bala en la categoría sub-16. En 2023 volvió a ganar su segundo título consecutivo en el campeonato de lanzamiento de disco en la categoría sub-18. Este año Alana Paola ocupa el 1er lugar en el Ranking Nacional en las categorías Sub-18 y Sub-20 a los 17 años de edad. También clasifico al Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo Sub-18 para representar a México en el Campeonato Mundial de Lanzamiento de Disco a celebrarse en la ciudad de Manama, Bahrein, en octubre de este año.

Desafortunadamente, el costo de este viaje para competir en el campeonato del mundo es elevado, y Alana necesita viajar con su entrenador para esta importante competición. Por ello, estamos buscando apoyo financiero para ayudar a Alana a alcanzar todo su potencial y lograr sus objetivos deportivos. Nos gustaría invitarle a unirse a nosotros en este emocionante viaje.
