Help Alba's Animals from Ukraine!

I want to let you know about a very special and courageous lady called Alba. I'm sure you have all seen the terrible atrocities, war crimes and devastating destruction currently happening in Ukraine, which is destroying many people’s and animals' lives as we speak.
Alba was so upset seeing what was happening that she decided she was going to go to there and volunteer her help, so she began to create a plan to travel to Ukraine. Despite having problems with her own health, she selflessly made arrangements and raised some funds to embark on this special journey. She arrived in Poland on 10th April and immediately got involved with the arduous task in helping the abandoned animals who were suffering and had no one to help them. She was based at the Centaurus Foundation where she helped with looking after the animals, some of which were injured and traumatised, and she also went into Ukraine’s war zone to deliver food to animals and desperate people.
She was faced with many difficult and emotional situations but carried on as best as she could. At times she didn’t have anyone to turn to for help and felt very lonely and anxious. She slept in a metal container at night with the other volunteers who had come from other countries to help.
During her time there Alba got to know 9 cats and 15 dogs under her care and vowed to help them find homes and escape this hellhole. All on her own she has amazingly found homes for 9 cats and 10 dogs in Spain, and will also bring the 5 other dogs and put them in foster care until homes can be found. She refuses to leave anyone behind!
Whilst caring for the animals Alba met a sweet female dog called Khaleesi who stole her heart after she nursed her back to health from Parvo virus. Unbeknown to Alba, Khaleesi had already decided that this wonderful human Alba was going to be her future Mum, and followed her everywhere and slept with her at night in the container, until one day Alba looked at her loyal trusting eyes and knew they had a very special bond and she was going to come home with her.
In a foreign country, and under very stressful and difficult conditions, Alba has managed to get all 9 cats and 15 dogs ready to travel to Spain with all the necessary vet care, vaccines, microchips, passports, worming, de-fleaing and they have all spent 30 days in quarantine, which is a legal requirement before travel can take place.
Alba is in Spain at the moment while she organises the transport and raising very much needed funds to fulfil her dream of saving these 24 animals. She is planning to return to Poland very soon to see all her babies (as she calls them) and wait with them until they leave for their new lives in Spain. She has managed to find transport for the animals and it looks like they will probably be leaving Poland around the end of June or beginning of July.
Alba desperately needs to raise funds for the transport costs (2000€), her return flight to Poland (approx 200€) and food for the animals. She needs about 2500€ to help her achieve this dream and help these deserving animals find a happy future. We have only one month to help Alba and her animals reach this goal. Any amount would be gratefully received and can be done via Gofundme or on Paypal to: [email redacted] (Please put ‘Animals from Ukraine’ as a reference).
Once Alba has arrived back safely into Spain with all 24 animals she hopes to return and volunteer with the ‘Breaking Chains' group, who bravely venture into dangerous war zones to feed and rescue animals and people. She has travelled a long and difficult road but can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel for these 24 animals. Please help them before it is too late!
