Help Alberto Mutis and his Family

Hello everyone, my name is Rosemary Forsell, Alberto's oldest daughter. I am writing this on his behalf and on behalf of his entire family. My father, who is 76 years old and resides in Pennsylvania, USA since 1995, traveled to Colombia to meet his grandchildren for the first time this past month.

 One week ago, while on vacation in Colombia, my father's health began to deteriorate drastically, compromising both of his lungs as a result of COVID 19, which he got in Colombia after 5 days of being there. My father got to the hospital and was admitted to the intensive care unit (UCI) at the Clinica del Caribe in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia due to an urgent need of oxygen, and a heart arrhythmia. 

My dad’s condition was very critical and chances of surviving were very low . He was immediately intubated and on a ventilator since Friday July 8. My dad had to be intubated to avoid a heart attack. Fortunately, and as a result of something that appears to be a miracle, my father's health has been improving during the past two days. 

Please, we need your prayers and financial help!    

 Any   donation  no matter how small, is very important to us at this time.  My dad does not have any type of health insurance in Colombia ; the bill  keeps rising  and our family is doing  everything that is possible to pay it, but  the expenses of a stay  in an intensive care unit with a ventilator are extremely high  , and we need  to pay the hospital bills on a daily  basis if we want him to continue  receiving medical  care at the hospital in Colombia . 

There is nothing we want more than to see my dad coming back to the USA to continue with his life,  and for an opportunity for all of us to spend more time with our dad and grandfather. 

He is a strong, loving man with an immense desire to continue living. Please help us cover these unforeseen medical expenses and help us give him a second chance to continue with his life. Anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
