Help Albie & family through rare DIPG brain tumour

Our wonderful, funny, sparky, Spiderman-loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and best friend Albie celebrated his 5th birthday on 8 January 2022. An only child, Albie has naturally been the centre of his parents’ lives and a beacon of fun and happiness to those around him. Approaching his 5th birthday, Albie was falling over and getting tired more than usual. A visit to the GP and then a hospital revealed that Albie has a DIPG, a very rare and aggressive brain tumour, for which currently there is no cure.

We have set up this page primarily to raise money for treatment options for Albie, which can hopefully suppress the growth of tumour (but come with a monthly cost of circa £4000, and are currently not funded by the NHS).

We are also hoping that the money raised will enable Albie's parents to be able to look after him and spend as much time with him as possible, without worrying about life expenses and bills.
