Help Aldo & his daughter rebuild after Maui fire
Donation protected
My name is Michelle Lenahan, I am creating this page in hopes of helping my daughter's father, Aldo, and sister, Franchesca.
Maui, Hawaii, has been ravaged by devastating wildfires -- authorities are calling them some of the worst wildfires in US history. Aldo and Franchesca are two of the thousands of people displaced from their homes, jobs, pets, and their life as they know it. Although they are grateful to be alive, they need help! Lahaina is gone. Supplies are low.
Aldo has lived in Lahaina, Maui on and off since 2012 with his daughter. They worked on Front Street together at Kimo's restaurant -- a Lahaina staple. Aldo loved Kimo's but the guests loved him more. His charming accent, bubbly personality and outstanding service guaranteed cherished memories by thousands of travelers and locals. He was so thrilled to be able to share this amazing restaurant with his daughter and work alongside her, showing her "the ropes".
Now, they are in a state of shock and disbelief; the future is unclear. I cannot imagine the pain and saddness they are enduring right now. So, I am asking my friends and family to please come together to support these two people affected by this horrible tragedy. They need to find housing, clothes, food, water and many other unforeseen expenses while they navigate through this unimaginable time of rebuilding.
