Help Alec Move to a Safe Home Before Winter
Donation protected
Dear Supporters, I have worked hard to do this myself, but alas, this year, things have conspired against me, and I find myself in a place of need that I never wanted to be in again.
Due to unexpected and inflated costs of vehicle maintenance and repair, plus ongoing legal counseling to protect my testimony as a witness in an upcoming, and frightening trial, the funding I had saved for moving to Wisconsin this year has been commandeered.
For the past 6 years, I have lived in an RV and worked in a studio space provided by a fellow musician and dear friend, along with her family to whom I am eternally grateful.
By the grace of another friend, I have been given the offer of living in a beautiful, 3-story Victorian home for myself, my dearest companion Sanci, and our 5 fur children. Here, I will continue healing from my "misadventure" of a very dysfunctional, 14-year marriage, strengthening my music career, and creating the music that has been my survival throughout, along with all of you and your loving support.
The immediacy of my need is due to the upcoming winter and the hardship that comes upon me and my friends if I must wait another two seasons to move.
My hosts have been more than generous, but I do not wish to depend on them any longer for the extra expenses and health risks that wintering in an RV can bring.
The plan is to finish out my musical obligations for this year, rent a 26ft moving truck with a tow dolly, and then, with the help of dear friends, drive the RV, truck with minivan in tow, and extra car to my new home during the last week of September. The gas alone will take almost half of this fundraising goal, not including the truck rental and stopover rooms for the nights.
Any proceeds collected beyond the expenses of this move will be used for upgrading my studio, replicating out-of-stock CDs, and strengthening my music company RyuuAja Music & Productions.
I will post updates as I go, providing you with complete transparency.
Moving at this time, and not later, will provide me with the safe place and strong support group needed for giving witness testimony in an October trial that has already demanded much of my recovered resources both financially and emotionally.
I am frustrated that I have not managed to do this on my own. The "Misadventure" was almost the ruin of me and reclaiming independence and financial security has been a challenge that I continue to strive for. At this time, however, I see myself slipping back from the strides I have made unless I receive some help.
Know this, my friends, I am continuing my "Lifetime of Song". I strive to make Music and Magic for all who need or wish for it. I will continue to sing and speak empowerments for all who are seeking to strengthen themselves, and who strive to stand against their own challenges.
My challenge now is to secure my safety and my financial future.
This needs to be done before the Winter comes to eat away all that I have worked for so far.
I need your help. Any amount is welcome. If you are in the same situation as me, then sharing this GoFundMe with others is as good as contributing.
I hope that you unite with me to make this happen.
"Salt & Loam, Hearth & Home, will bring to me Life Anew" -Alexander
The one thing I am grateful to have learned from these past years of recovery and challenge is:
"When we are united, I am stronger than one."
Blessings, and May Magic and Music be Yours!
