Help Alejandra and Obed restart their business

This is Alejandra and her husband Obed. Alejandra has been cleaning for our family for about 14 years. She is like family to us.
The early days of COVID hit their family hard, making their family of five sick and putting Alejandra and Obed out of work. Once everyone was healthy, they started a small outdoor window washing, power washing, landscaping, and odd jobs business to get caught up on bills during COVID Phase 2 when service workers were not allowed in homes. This business has grown through recommendations and referrals for the last two years.
On the night of Saturday night/Sunday morning (March 19/20th), their white Ford work van, Washington license plate C56039L was stolen from the street in West Seattle outside their home. This work van had all the tools inside to do their work — construction tools, ladders, power washer, lawnmower, weed whacker, hedge trimmers, etc. A police report has been filed with the Seattle Police Department 22-069329 but it’s been two weeks and nothing has been recovered.
Spring is their busiest time of year and now they don’t have the tools to run their business and make this income for their family. We’ve put together a Home Depot list of the tools they need, and it totals over $7,000 without taking the work van into account. **Updated 4/7/22** We had set the original goal of $4,500 but the community has been so generous with support, that we are increasing the campaign goal to cover their list of tools. Thank you!**
Please donate so they can purchase the most important tools to take advantage of this busy spring work season!
Thank you!
