Help Baby Z and his family

my name is Christine.

• I am starting this page for my Daughter Alesha who just became a single mom on 7-17-24 (coming out of a Domestic violence relationship with the father). This is her first child, Izayah. She chose to leave that relationship for the sake of her baby, leaving all else behind. Alesha has moved home with me, but would like to build a new life for herself and her miracle baby Izayah.

Izayah Maurice is a little peanut born 4 weeks early. Right now he weighs a little over 3 pounds, but born with hair! Izayah is a determined little soul, but Mr. Man will have to remain in the NIC ward for a few more weeks- until at least 8-17-24. Mom hasn't left his side. Already, he has had a head MRI twice, a brain bleed that was seen on the first one... was gone on the second one. Many prayers answered for sure. Thank you all who sent them.

X-rays, ultrasounds, hearing tests, weight carefully watched, Izayah and Alesha have a long road ahead of them. This baby will need special care. My daughter is totally devoted, so loving, and has been from the very beginning. Unfortunately Alesha does not have a car, and where we live there is no public transportation and we all work. Before this little guy was born, Alesha had ultrasounds every weekend, because that was when I could take her. And we watched him grow. The baby couldn't be carried full term, and so he came into this world a bit early.

Now that he is here, Mr. Izayah Man will have a lot of Dr. appointments, after he leaves the Hospital, and I have already taken so much time off from work, I don't know what to do. Plus I will worry about them, home alone with no car. And these appointments can only be done during the week. This little guy so far is doing very well, he's a fighter. So please send your prayers. And if you could send a little something, for a car, things the baby needs, it just might save a little boy's life.

• UPDATE! Izayah, Baby Z, is home from the hospital and just celebrated his first month 8/17/24 alive and well in this world. It was also his mom, Alesha's, due date. Izayah is doing well, gaining weight once by once, but still needs very frequent trips to his Doctor appointments. Our family still needs help. Alesha is trying to save for a car, a safe one, for her baby Z, Izayah. Where we live, not in a city, the only way to get anywhere is by car. We work, and Alesha is home alone with Baby Izayah (with our dogs and cats of course, keeping a lookout). Gas bills, diapers, transportation, food... the list is never-ending. If anyone can spare a few dollars to help Baby Z, Izayah, and our family, many, many thanks. Oh, and please post this to your friends and family too. Thank you.
