Help Alessa afford Facial Feminization Surgery

Hi there, my name is Alessa Baker I'm a trans woman from Ireland, currently living in Hamburg Germany the last three years. I'm from Twitter (@codekittah), and also the Unreal Engine community. I've been a Technical Artist, and general gamedev writing tutorials and doing Unreal Engine work for 14 years in our industry and contribute quite a lot back to the community whenever I can.

Along with doing a full-time job in the industry, and also doing freelance work - the costs of Facial Feminization Surgery are exorbitantly high for a trans woman to meet alone. My insurance also won't cover some of this because both Germany and Ireland consider these to be "cosmetic" surgeries and therefore not needed.

 

I've tried working so hard to achieve my goals, to do all of this by myself, but this is something I've wanted for so long, and it just doesn't seem achievable.

 

Anything you are willing to give is greatly appreciated by this kitten.
