Help Aletha transition back
Our friend (and ultimate SURVIVOR) Aletha went through emergency surgery in April for two ruptured brain aneurysms. She subsequently spent some weeks in ICU where she recovered and where doctors monitored two additional non-ruptured aneurysms in order to evaluate whether she would need additional surgery. After a number of weeks of Gussie's TLC (and watchful eye) in Ft. Wayne, Aletha has finally been given the all-clear to return to her home in Detroit (and soon to begin working again with us!).
Many folks have asked how they might be able to show Aletha their support, and we can think of no better way than to help make her transition at home easier and to keep her stress as low as possible. If you feel so inclined, please consider contributing here to help Aletha focus on getting her groove back now that she's back home, instead of having to worry about things like cooking, cleaning, etc. All donations will go directly to Aletha herself.
