Urgent Update: Stolen PJ Crew Member Vehicle

On February 19th, our Peppermint Jim family faced a troubling incident when a vehicle belonging to our crew member, Alex, was stolen. After a diligent search, it was located on February 24th, abandoned in the middle of the road—just 11.5 miles from the Mexico border near Sierra Vista.

We conducted a recovery and salvage operation, and while we have mixed news, there are some bright spots:

✅ Recovered: Thanks to Peppermint Jim and our supportive community, we were able to salvage some products and equipment from the vehicle.

❌ Total Loss: Unfortunately, the vehicle itself was irreparably damaged. It had been driven off-road through the desert, evident from the added vegetation underneath, a missing front bumper, and severe interior destruction including a torn-out driver’s panel and dashboard.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who liked, shared, and supported our initial post—your help means the world to us!

Now, we turn to a new mission:

Alex is a single mother striving to get back on her feet for herself and her young daughter, Ezra.
