Help Alex Fight Metastatic Breast Cancer

Hello everyone, this is Alex Sedoris.

In January 2023, I was diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer and went through six rounds of chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and a year of targeted therapy. I fought with everything I had and was told there was no evidence of disease—but now, only 1 year after completing treatment, I'm facing devastating news.

After experiencing pain in my hip and leg after a fall, an MRI revealed that my breast cancer has metastasized to my pelvis, hip, leg, and lower spine. Walking has become difficult and I'm anxiously awaiting a PET scan so that they can begin treatment to stop the spread.

As I navigate this devastating news with my family, I can't help but think of the financial burden I know this will be again. My last battle cost us over $20,000 out of pocket even having great insurance and we will also have the cost of travel and lodging to be at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix.
