Help Alex & her girls during their Recovery

Donation protected
Recently, our family went through a terrible car accident on Route 347 when they were hit by a drunk driver early morning on 10/30/2024, and it’s left us shaken. Joe Lowry was the driver of the vehicle, Alex Shepherd was the passenger, and Jen Lowry was behind Alex with Alex's two young daughters. Thankfully, everyone survived, but they came away with some serious injuries that are going to take a while to heal. There’s a lot of physical pain and emotional weight from everything that happened, and it’s going to be a long journey to get back to normal.

We are currently in the trauma ICU with the 3 adults, and the kids were placed in the PICU for further monitoring. These injuries aren’t something that will heal overnight, so recovery means weeks—and likely months—of working hard and staying hopeful. Adjusting to this new routine is tough on everyone, but we’re committed to getting through this together, one day at a time.

Alex’s mom and dad (Kathy & Mark) will be beside all of the girls day and night for an unprecedented amount of time to fully support them in all ways. To help with all the unexpected medical bills and other expenses, we’re setting up a fundraiser. Anything that friends and family can give will make a difference, helping cover treatments, recovery costs, and other needs so they can focus on healing without worrying as much about finances. We’re so grateful for everyone’s support during this time; it truly means the world.
