Alex needs our help

If you live in Simi Valley, you probably know my brother Alex Mostacciuolo. He is the nicest person you’ve ever met and goes out of his way to help everyone.
My brother Alex is very sick. On the February 13th, after a trip to the ER, he was admitted to the hospital. He had contracted a rhino virus which turned into pneumonia. It progressed to a staph infection in his blood. This led to Reiters syndrome, a reactive arthritis, to flare up. He has now developed a blockage in his small intestine.
Alex will be on long term antibiotic via a pic line once his blood cultures are clear. The pain from Reiters is debilitating and his doctors say it will last for months. At this time his doctors are still trying to figure out where the infection is coming from.
Alex is making progress in small steps. Today, with help of nurses and a walker, he was able to stand. Alex is still at Simi Adventist Hospital and would love to hear from all of you.
His doctors are saying it will take a few months to recover. He will be unable to work for quite a while. Christy is taking time off to be with him. I am asking for your help to relieve some of their worries. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to cover projected medical bills and living expenses.
If you are unable to donate at this time, can you please share this! Thank you all for your support.
