Help Alex Quinones overcome this tragedy!

Donation protected
On February 23rd, 2024, our dear brother and loved one, Alejandro (Alex) Quinones, faced a life-altering challenge. While enjoying one of his passions, riding his motorcycle, Alex was struck by a vehicle whose driver's moment of inattention changed everything in an instant. The accident left Alex with severe spinal cord injuries, fracturing his C1, C2, and C3 vertebrae, leading to quadriplegia and the potential need for lifelong ventilator support.

Currently, Alex is battling far more than his spinal injury; he’s in the ICU fighting for his life. His current complications include a damaged left vertebral artery with significant clotting, viral infections, broken ribs, a shattered wrist, and the prospect of more surgeries ahead. He is on a ventilator and far from being out of danger.

Before this tragedy, Alex was known for his boundless energy and love for life. A dedicated spouse, a loving father to a 20-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter, and a loyal friend, Alex has always been the heart of our community. His love for motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and cooking brought joy not only to him but to all of us fortunate enough to share in his passions. Alex's commitment to serving our country, first in the U.S. Army and then as a private military contractor with numerous deployments, speaks volumes of his bravery and selflessness. His life has been a beacon of dedication, love, and sacrifice

This GoFundMe campaign is more than just a call for financial support; it's a rallying cry for our community to stand with Alex and his family during their most challenging time. The road ahead is daunting, with medical bills piling up, the need for specialized rehabilitation, and the inevitable adjustments to their home to accommodate Alex's new needs.

We are asking for your support to help Alex navigate this unimaginable journey. Your donation will directly contribute to his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and necessary medical equipment to ensure Alex can live with dignity and comfort. For those who cannot contribute financially, sharing Alex's story and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers are equally invaluable.
