Help Alex raise £6000

A few weeks ago, I watched a documentary on menstrual hygiene practices of young women in Nigeria which was very upsetting. It was upsetting to know that in Nigeria, there are still many young women who use pieces of cloth in place of sanitary towels for menstrual hygiene every month. These women are at risk of infection, PID and potentially Long-term sub-fertility.

One week ago, I started a challenge for the month of August…a challenge to run 5km everyday to raise funds and provide sanitary towels for young women in Nigeria. My challenge is to raise £6000, to provide 6000 packets (£1 per pack) of sanitary towels for 500 women for 12 months. This money will be donated to a local NGO to provide sanitary towels for young women in Nigeria.
