Help Alex Back On His Feet After Wildfires

Hello, my name is Silene. My org owner and friend, Alex, has been through hell and back in this life and recently, his home and everything in it was taken by the California wildfires. He lost every single one of his belongings, other than the clothes on his back and the phone in his hands. He is a student at university that he put himself through with no help from anyone. He is a strong, resilient person, and he and thousands of others were forced to leave their entire lives behind to burn. Words cannot express the devastation I feel for the citizens that have lost their homes.

My friend has been very generous as a person, not just to me, but my entire organization. This man is selfless, kind, and did not deserve what happened. We are all overjoyed that he is physically okay, but this does not mean the mental turmoil will be any lesser.

I want to raise money to offer some relief, and to replace his electronics and other belongings. As our org owner, he needs a computer for work, and as a student, he needs it for school. These are very important things in a young adult’s life in this day and age, especially regarding our current economy. He didn’t deserve to lose everything, and neither did anyone else.
