Help Alexander to get to Canada and Settle
Donation protected
Dear community,
Probably many of you have seen Alexander Mkrtchyan's post on Facebook. Alexander Mkrtchyan, with his Armenian wife Maya, and their children of 9 and 1, was forced out of his home in Odessa due to Russian aggression. Following his post in the "Armenians from Quebec, Canada" Facebook group, Aragast team members were able to contact him and offer the assistance he was seeking. However, without the support of our devoted community, there isn't much we can do. Alexander and his family were lucky to escape the war and find shelter with a kind stranger in Moldova. They have received Canadian visas through CUAET program. However, the challenges are still ahead. We ask for your contribution to help this beautiful family reach Canada, rent an apartment, and pay the bills for the first 2 months in Canada. Aragast team has assumed the responsibility of initial accommodation, integration, and job search; however, as I said, we can't do much without your help. So, please, spare a moment to donate and show that no matter where we live, where we come from, and what our political views are, we are ultimately ARMENIANS-welcoming, supporting, compassionate, and we do not leave other Armenians behind!
