Help Alexandra Return to FAMU

Greetings, I am Alexandra Jones, a 21 year old Elementary Education major from West Palm Beach, FL. As a little girl, my life long dream was to continue my family legacy and attend, in my opinion, the greatest institute of higher learning, Florida A&M University and pursue a career in education. To make sure that dream became a reality, I stayed on top of my education, became well a well rounded individual (participated in marching band, community service events, cheerleading, etc...), and prepared for my time to be on “The Hill” in the fall of 2017 I went off to FAMU and majored in Elementary education. I maintained a 3. 3GPA and made the Dean’s list within my first semester, but by the time November came around I couldn’t register for my spring classes due to an outstanding balance of $4,000+ . I was never informed about this balance until it was too late , and my mother (who is a single parent of 6 children) didn’t have the funds to pay off that balance. I tried to reason with the school and seek further options so that I could still take classes and pay it off as I go, but that wasn’t an option... since then , I have been in two different schools trying to get my degree! Here I am, at the final stretch to receive my AA from palm Beach State College and the only thing holding me back is my balance with FAMU . Once I receive my AA from PBSC I do plan on returning to FAMU and finishing off the right way, and it can be possible with your help ❤️
