Help Alexi

Donation protected
On January 2, 2021, Alexi Livanis was driving on a dark, mostly deserted part of I-95 in Connecticut.  He stopped to help a lady who had been in an accident.  He called 911, and most of us would have just driven along.

But Alexi is a different sort of person.

He got out of his car and walked over to make sure that she was OK.  He got out of his car walked over to her.  That's when a car hit him.

Now Alexi is in a hospital in Connecticut, with significant hemorrhaging, 2 broken legs, kidney and intestinal damage, and 5 broken ribs.  He's already undergone one operation on his legs, and is set to have another soon.

Alexi's goal was to help this woman - this is what Alexi does all the time.

All of us who know Alexi know that he is constantly striving to help everyone.  So many times he's made plans with people and has arrived late because some old woman needed help crossing the street.  In 2016, during the snowstorm here in New York, he came to my house late because he stopped to help 3 random people get out of their parking spots, only to come with me to help get my sister out of her parking spot.

Alexi lives his life in an Orthodox Christian way - helping others as a manner to help his fellow friends and family.  Today, I ask you to donate anything you can to help pay for his hospital and rehab expenses.  If you can't donate anything, I ask that you share this on any social media platform that you can.

Alexi came to this country in December 2015 with the hopes to make a better life for him and his daughter who he loves more than anything.

Let's help Alexi the way he always tried to help everyone.
