Help Alexis to get to the Dance World Cup

Hi Everyone!

My name is Alexis and I’m a 13 year old dancer from Edmonton, Alberta.

I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to represent Team Canada this summer in Prague, Czech Republic at the Dance World Cup. This competition runs from June 26 to July 6, 2024. It’s ten full days of jam packed dancing on multiple stages, with 66 countries competing.

I’ve been given the honor to preform in SIX group dances, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap. I also have received the honor of performing TWO Solos, Jazz and Contemporary. I started dancing at the age of 4 and throughout the years my love and dedication for. dancing has grown. I now train over 25 hours a week and have been given many sensational opportunities to learn a wide variety of dance styles from wonderful and talented dance instructors and fellow dance friends.

I enjoy being on stage and having the opportunity to show the judges and audience my love and passion for dance. I truly enjoy being able to tell a story through my performances on stage. I’m really excited and blessed to have this opportunity to learn from instructors and dancers from around the world and for me to show them my passion and love for dance as well. I can’t wait to cheer on Team Canada!

This opportunity is very expensive and I need your help to get me to the world stage. I’ve been working hard to raise funds through bottle drives and selling homemade products. I’m also using past dance scholarship cash winnings from previous competitions to put towards this wonderful opportunity. The funds raised will help me cover the expenses for Choreograph, Costumes, Flights and Hotels
