Helping Alicia’s family

Hi there my name is Megan and I’m fundraising for my beautiful friend Alicia Dickson.

14 months ago I posted this message:

|At the young age of 31 this kind and caring lady was given the devastating news this week that she has breast cancer and needs treatment as soon as possible.

She is a loving wife to Simon and mother to their 2 beautiful children Jobe (3) and Charlotte (1).

This is such an emotional time for Alicia and her family and if we can help and create awareness for this horrible disease anyway we can it would be kindly appreciated.

The money would help to assist in medical treatment and give Simon the ability to be beside his wife and children in this time of need.

For anyone that doesn’t know Alicia, you would never meet a more kind hearted and generous person and I am so grateful to call her one of my dear friends.

So please get behind this loving family and let’s try make things a little easier for them at this difficult time.|

Now after 12 months of chemo, radiation, surgery and a long stay in hospital, this horrible disease is still continuing to cause challenges.

Unfortunately a couple of months ago Alicia and her family received the news that she is no longer curable but there are still many options available to help keep fighting this horrible thing we know as cancer.

So I put this up again in the hope to create awareness and to hopefully raise a bit more money for this amazing family to make life just that little bit easier at the present moment.
