Help Alicia's Family Honor Her Memory
Donation protected
Alicia Kirk graced this earth in Detroit on November 15, 1984. Unfortunately, her beautiful light went out on July 3, 2024.
On October 12, 2023, she was diagnosed with AML Leukemia - she had never been sick a day in her life.
Prior to this, she enjoyed spending time with her family, including her two children Amorie and Jalen, her brother Gary Jr., and her parents Amelia and Gary. She loved fine dining and watching movies with her loved ones.
Alicia found an AML specialist in Houston who had a trial program for potential treatment at MD Anderson Hospital where she went and fought through intense rounds of chemotherapy for months. It was determined that it was not working, and she was encouraged by her medical team to go home and be with her family.
On May 29th, she was airlifted back to the University of Michigan Hospital where she was continuing rounds of chemotherapy to extend her life no longer to heal her. She never stopped hoping for a miracle, fighting until her last breath. She fought a good fight, but on July 3rd, she went to her heavenly home.
Unfortunately, Alicia never planned for this. She was only 39 years old, and this illness left her disabled and without life insurance. Therefore, now the family is in need of any assistance you can provide so that we may give her a proper home going service. Each donation will ease the financial strain that the family is currently facing as they mourn a tremendous loss and is appreciated more than words can describe.
