Help Alisha and her family as she fights cancer

Hello, My name is Jessica and I am sharing my best friend Alisha's story, who I consider my sister... In all honesty, I want to share the details and I also want to be respectful of her privacy the best I can. She was recently diagnosed with cancer primarily located in her mouth, neck and jaw. She is an incredible woman who has always remained faithful to her family and friends.

Alisha is a single mother who does her best to provide for her children and recently gave her life back to Christ. She is so much more than a few words could describe but if you knew her you would see a beautiful heart always ready and willing to help when called regardless of her own needs.

It is never easy for anyone to ask for help so I will do it for her, she will need it in the coming months. I am looking to raise funds to help with her bills during this time. She will be having surgery at the end of May and will be in the hospital for some time after the initial surgery, leaving weeks of recovery at home without an income. As many of us have been affected somehow in our lives by cancer, you may know that treatments are often required to stop progression of cancer and to help completely destroy remaining cancer cells. Her treatments are scheduled to start two weeks post surgery.

While she is an incredibly strong woman who knows that the Lord will always provide, enduring this process can at times take a toll on our spirits. I would love to bless her with the peace of not being troubled over bills and how to pay them so she can focus her attention towards her two awesome children who are also affected by her diagnoses. Please help me bless this family, we may not be able to take her cancer away but we can help bring them peace by loving them with a monetary donation, a share of this post and a prayer. Because we all have enough to worry about, how to provide for your family during cancer shouldn't be one of them.
