Help Alissa Pay Legal Fees to Fight Her Abuser

My best friend Alissa is a beautiful soul. She has served the Santa Fe community as a licensed therapist for over 5 years, is a gifted artist, poet and overall amazing human being. She also makes me laugh like no one else. Unfortunately,  she has been dealing with the aftermath of abuse she endured from an ex boyfriend. For 3 years, she endured psychological, emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Thankfully,  she survived. She got out. In the midst of her recovery, she spoke out against the abuse. Her abuser retaliated not once, but now twice. Alissa is being unjustly sued by her abuser for speaking out against him. 

Alissa is in drastic need of a good lawyer to fight against her abuser. She should not have to pay for abuse he perpetrated. We are asking for assistance in helping Alissa to pay a retainer for a lawyer as well as expected legal fees. She will also need funds for continuing therapy amidst this legal process.
