Help Aliya fight Hydrocephalus
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family, 5 months ago, my niece Aliya Bahorzoda was born in Dushanbe, Tajikistan with a condition known as Hydrocephalus (due to lack of oxygen during labor).
Having hydrocephalus means too much fluid is building up inside your baby's brain. This extra fluid can increase pressure on the brain. It can make your baby's head look larger than usual, making the soft spots on your head feel firm or bulge out.
Aliya and her family have been battling this condition over the past 5 months, between numerous hospital visits and home treatments. Additionally, due to Aliya's medical condition, she cannot see the world, her parents or life in simplicity.
While you can imagine how difficult this is to read about such a terrible situation, the family lives this daily. The medical team in Tajiksitan has advised the family to travel to India or Pakistan to seek treatment and perform the surgery on her Brain and Eyes. The cost of the surgery is $40,000 and the cost of the travel and medical bills will be a further $10,000. This is a large undertaking for the family; this is why we seek help from friends, family and well-wishers.
We are sending our thoughts, prayers, and love to the Bahorzoda family during this unimaginably difficult time. All proceeds will go towards Aliya's Surgery.
Thank you, Take Care and Ya Ali Madat
