Help Aliyana beat Leukemia

I made this GoFundMe page tonight for my beautiful friend of 37 years D’anna and her husband Pete in hope to help their beautiful little girl Aliyana Rose Mimmo (9 years old) who has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

I feel so helpless and know a lot of their family & friends do too, so I’ve decided to create this page to help them with one less burden to worry about. They have a long road ahead with Medical expenses, travel expenses, food, parking, taking time off work to be by their daughter’s side and taking shifts between caring for their son Hudson as well.

This is my way of helping D’anna and Pete so they can focus all there energy on their beautiful little girl whilst she is in hospital having chemotherapy and fighting this horrible disease.

On Friday morning the 2nd of July Aliyana’s parents world came crashing down.

D’anna and Pete took her to the Royal Children’s Hospital after she was presenting laboured breathing and a persistent cough. At 11am after some tests, D’anna and Pete were told the news that no parent should have to hear and that Aliyana has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

A quote from her parents “As you all could imagine we were devastated, and still are but we are confident that our angel will over come this as she is amazing and a true fighter” By 7pm Friday evening Aliyana had her first round of chemo, and is already showing excellent signs.

Any donation you can make big or small for this beautiful family would be greatly appreciated and will definitely help ease and relieve some burdens for the Mimmo Family.
