Help Alli Become a Midwife

Alli is an Oakland-based student midwife, lactation consultant, doula and member of Breastfriends in Oakland. Alli was asked to complete one more semester of her midwifery program before graduating. The school was not upfront about fees, and the deadlines for financial aid have already passed. So with all this in mind let’s support Alli in her final semester of midwifery school. As she reaches this final stretch, we are going to show up for her and lift up the work she has done by raising $20,000 by January 1st. The impact of Alli’s work is immeasurable but what this is really about is investing in the thriving, rest and ease of Black midwives.

Gofundme’s do not meet their goals without advocates who share them AND make direct asks of their communities, especially those that are well resourced to make material contributions. We asking folks to redistribute wealth and to ask others to do the same.
