Help Allison Whisenhunt and Her Family Rebuild

The Whisenhunt family was robbed and their entire savings was stolen in a very scary and agonizing scam that involved identity theft and being accused of significant crimes (the scammers were GOOD and everything seemed so legitimate; please be on alert and be careful to know what to look for regarding current financial scams). The money that was stolen was set aside as an emergency fund and for college tuition for Allison's kids. It has been absolutely devastating to her and her family to see all of their hard work wiped away in a matter of seconds. Allison gives so much to everyone she knows and is the most generous, kind-hearted person and has worked so hard to ensure that she and her family are able to meet their financial needs. When I first approached her about setting up a fundraiser to help them start to rebuild their savings, the answer was "absolutely not; there are so many people who need help more than we do!" It has been a week or two of assuring her that she and her family are no less worthy of help than anyone else and it is now with her permission that I'm setting up this page.
