Help Allison Cassidy Heal:Funds for Dental Surgery

Allison and Bruce need help paying substantial dental bills over the next year. The amount is far beyond what they can pay off. She has had to have extensive mouth surgery due to severe deterioration of her upper jaw from an infection. She’s had to have removal of teeth, and bone grafting to rebuild the upper jaw these past sixteen months and now has more to face. The timing is important as the already successfully grafted bone will start deteriorating if implants are not placed over the next 6 - 9months to preserve the bone. This next step on 18th August is to have implant stems placed as well as the second input of bone grafting.

Allison Cassidy is a live liver transplant recipient, and lives with a chronic form of Leukaemia (CML). She’s not been able to work enough to sustain herself for the past 15 years due to the toll of the drug interactions, as well as the chronic Leukaemia. She is a rather rare case of survival on a few fronts. Allison feels beyond fortunate to be able to still be in the world.

We’re reaching out on her behalf now, hoping that people can spread the word here to help her and Bruce find the resources for this upcoming challenge. It was not an easy task to get her to agree to setting up this page because she feels that her community has done so much for her already. Hence her following offer:

Allison is offering to do sessions with anyone who feels they would benefit from some meditation or other stress release techniques. She has many years of experience in helping people and loves doing this work. We will be finding a way to set up a system where people can book appointments as soon as she has recovered well enough. That information will be updated on the page asap.
