Help Alonso Medina After Eaton Canyon Fires
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Cindy Hernandez, and I am starting this GoFundMe for my uncle, Alonso Medina, who tragically lost his home during the Eaton Canyon fires. Last Tuesday, he was ordered to evacuate his home as the fires were nearing Altadena. During that time, as we know, the fires tore through Altadena, and many lost their homes and businesses, and he was included in that tragedy.
My uncle has been working tirelessly since immigrating to this country 35 years ago. He has built his life in Altadena and has created fond memories while living there. These fires and the destruction they have caused have been heartbreaking, to say the least. He fortunately has been able to stay with us, but everything that he had and saved for was gone in an instant. We are all trying to navigate these difficult times and appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers. If you are willing and able to help us in any way, we would genuinely and greatly appreciate it as it will all go towards helping him with the immediate costs of replacing basic necessities like clothes, toiletries, household items, work equipment, as well as covering any other unexpected expenses that may arise as he navigates this journey to begin anew.
If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing the link to this GoFundMe. Thank you so much. My family and I appreciate your generosity immensely.
